      Hello! I’m Valentina, the creative mind behind the Slovenian brand Mammi knows best and also a mom.

      Our family has 6 members, and we do a lot of laundry. I simply couldn’t find a safe laundry detergent in stores that I could trust. I read a lot about the harmful effects of optical brighteners and 1,4-dioxane, which are found in most detergents. I was shocked by the side effects they have and how poorly informed consumers are about this. Due to overdosing detergents, chemical residues often remain on clothes, which then slowly absorb into our bodies. Most are not dermatologically tested and are packaged in bulky plastic containers that take up a lot of space; on top of that, you have to measure and pour small doses into the washing machine drawer every time.

      I wondered what I should even use to make laundry effective yet safe for my children and our family, and environmentally friendly. Since I couldn’t find a suitable product on the market, I decided that we would develop one ourselves in our company. The development took a good two years, and we succeeded! Here is Mammi!
